Jehoshabeath

Throughout the weekend

Well, even though I slept in both days, I managed to get a few things done this week :D

I worked some on my otakon costumes with the help of my mom^^ We have all the peices cut out and started sewing the back and front of the jacket together :3 Yay! It looks really sharp^^ I can't wait until it is done though *impatient*

My brother and I played a lot of Red Faction and I am slowly improving my analogue controller skills^_^ I also played some Majora's Mask but I didn't beat any more temples...next on the list is the Water Temple and I hate that place....The boss always 0 \/\/ |\| z me!

Report on the sick - dad is finally up and about and feeling better but now mom is down and feeling pretty low...

And earlier this weekend I was bored and looking for people with common interests on livejournal..I sifted through a long list of names and wasn't having too much luck until I stumbled upon Obcordate ! We have so much in common and I can't wait till we can talk more about: languages, manga, ships, the Silmarillion^^ :D:D I am excited ^__^ Yay! It is rare to find a scholar of both Japanese and Quenya ^_^ teehee!

And ..as for this comming week...looks like 5 more days at the ol' Slifer House Museum!! College begins the 21st, so I might also start planning my work schedule there at the library...meh. Ah well, at least the work is fun :) It is always a nice break to go there for a few hours between class lectures and stamp/cover/register new books! Speaking of books, I am working on reading the Illiad for the first time and I am really getting into it - I wanna see what happens to Achilles and the rest^^ Yay for Greek lit! *Megan hugs books*
