Daily Bread - Luke 16:1-12

Title: Prepare for the future
Luke 16:1-12
Key Verse 10

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much."

If I say that I have faith in God, and in His kingdom, but do not act to prepare for the future, then what does my faith say? This parable shows the importance of thinking about and planning for the future, both worldly and heavenly. And the time to do that is not later, but right now.

Yesterday in Bible study, we learned how to live with true love and joy from John 12:1-11. It is to remember who we were, consider who we are, and reflect on who Jesus is, all that he has done, and will do for us. This keeps our hearts on the right track.
Last night at the prayer meeting we talked about Luke 22:20. We said how necessary it is to remember Jesus' sacrifice. That every day we should paint the blood above the doorpost of our hearts and rest assured in God's wonderful grace. That way, we can live hopeful and purposeful lives.

These are some ways to prepare for the future...

One Word: Get ready

I woke up at 7 and couldn't get back to sleep. So I cleaned, instead! Now I am tired again, but I think I may play some Rome. Scipii shall be victorious!

I go home today at noon! :D
And so, I will probably not be online much in the next week or so. Hope everyone takes care!
