Title: Where and when will it be?
Luke 17:20-25
Key verse 21b

"Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

This passage struck me the same way that the idea of "living eternally by the Spirit being not only of the future but of the present" did. There's something about the idea of Spiritual things as being something else, something for later on or for other people. For me? This daily life where I am grappling with more articles on systems development than I can handle? This daily life where I eat, sleep, do laundry, do dishes, and do these things all over again? This daily life where I bore myself?

I found that being a Christian is not a thing about the future. It is a "present thing."
We are told to walk with God. To walk by the Spirit. Walking is not something you do later but continually.

We don't have to look around, wondering where is God's kingdom and where He is. We can know Him and can be anointed with His Spirit. We can have life now.

One Word: It's right here

Something else I was thinking about: "What does God want me to do? What does he command?"

I thought, well, if He is God, He probably would want me to serve or obey or honor Him. But I thought, no, that's not what He says. Deuteronomy 6:5 does not say that you shall serve the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength or obey Him with all your ability.

It says:
"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength."

Isn't that really interesting, when you think about it that way?

[1] Deuteronomy 6:5
[2] Leviticus 19:18

Matthew 22:36-40
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[1] This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[2] All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

With all these things in mind, I go back to working on this records paper... I wish I really understood how businesses operated (when using intranets and portals and all that stuff) so I actually could make sense of this. When I finish this (and it is far from done) I will be so relieved. I've gotta get these classes done. Never-the-less, I will not be dismayed! I am gonna get to work now! XD
