I discovered Clamp in Wonderland 2 today quite by accident! It was really fun and now I want to read Suki Dakara Suki again... :) I could kick myself, because I sent my volumes home early with my bookshelf. Still, my family *is* coming Thursday and I could ask them to bring the volumes back... [Edit: Yay! The manga have been added to the pile of stuff to bring down on Thursday^^]
Tonight's schedule: eat dinner, send out homework 4 grades, work more for my company
It's funny how things can trigger memories.
Whenever I listen to Room for Squares I suddenly find myself in the third floor upper room of a Japanese house. My futon is sitting on the floor and my luggage is still unpacked. I already have Tsubasa volumes bought, since we found a bookstore down the street from campus across from the bank. Outside the window I can see antennas and wires and the rooftops of the neighboring houses, which are all jam packed on this side of the bridge. I am already working on a letter to Robert and wondering when I can email home and friends with the latest news. Not to mention that I am wondering what will be for dinner and if I will be able to register for classes. At least I remember the way to the train station...down the street past the rice paddies and the camellia tree and the chiropractor, around the corner of the Buddhist temple at the house of the blue roof tiles and indigo petunias. Ah, eager-empty-full-adventurous days.
"I'm writing you to catch you up on places I've been
You have this letter, probably got excited, but there's nothing else inside"
Isn't that what I wrote? I bet the handwriting was giddy with the newness of it all.
Leave the light on,
For me too, for me too
