the cross, cross

Whatever your god gives you

Today's Bible reading at the cafeteria:

Judges 11:24
"Will you not possess whatever Chemosh your god gives you to possess? So whatever the LORD our God takes possession of before us, we will possess."

My God has gone before me to claim possession of eternal life (Rev 1:18). Nothing can separate me from the love of my Priest (Romans 8:35-39). Therefore, my God says in Isaiah 40:1-2

"Comfort, yes, comfort My people!"
Says your God.
"Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her,
That her warfare is ended,
That her iniquity is pardoned..."

What does your god offer?
bread of life

Faith from the outside of the tent

I can't help but be very curious.

When I write about my faith, what runs through your head? Do you feel your heart uplifted? weighed down? insulted? blessed? convicted? bored? curious? amused? Feel free to let me know :) I won't be offended by honesty. And I'm not interested in changing my journal style. I'm just plain old curious to know how this tent looks from the outside of the camp.
