Psalm 22

Elihu's counsel

Whenever I read through Job, I find myself weary by the time I reach Elihu's response and thus read over it rather quickly. Last night, I decided to take another look at his words. I wanted to know what errors Job had made and what correction Elihu provided. Elihu quoted some of Job's words and then explained why Job had been in error. It was very interesting, even though I feel I've only tapped the surface with regards to the meaning of these chapters. Here are some passages that struck me:

'For [Job] has said, "It profits a man nothing that he should delight in God."
...Is it fitting to say to a king, "You are worthless"?' Job 34:9, 18
