My Japanese rain tanka*

その雨は
日本の台風と
おなじこと。
違うは一つ:
傘が残存!

Yesterday's rain and
a Japanese typhoon were
One and the same thing.
There was one difference:
My umbrella survived!

Yes,...my umbrella always flipped out on me when I was in Japan! >.o!
Anyway, I composed this after I trudged through the rain with a cold on Wednesday, my first day of work. Today, the sun was out and I felt much better^^
