8:00 - Woke up and read 10~20 pages about SQL...Still didn't finish the last 40 out of 140 textbook pages for this afternoon's class.
9:30-10:03 - Rested/slept with my glasses on and my textbook on my lap.
10:03-12:00 - Frantically worked to help edit my group's database documentation. Today, our revised Conceptual Schema & Entities List were due along with a Schema of Tables and SQL commands to create the tables. This totaled 12 pages in the end, but it has taken us hours upon hours of group meeting time and individual time. The Conceptual Data Schema and Entities list identifies all the Entities and Relationships which are needed to model the real world of Musical Instrument Family hierarchy, school orchestra performances, and more. The Tables organize the data into a form that the database will store and read.
12:00-1:45 - Cooked vegetables and eggs and ate them, along with a piece of chocolate Easter cross.
1:50-2:00 - Made my way to the classroom and read some Psalms before people arrived.
2:00-8:30 - Two class sessions. Then I treated myself to dinner at McDonald's.
Thank God for the beautiful weather today! It feels like summer. The birds really enjoyed it, too. I think I heard a mockingbird during my second evening class. Even in crazy times like this, I know where I can turn for strength - Nehemiah 8:10.
Also, Job has been on my mind. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Surely, the awesome work of God is worthy to be respected. Sometimes I take this for granted and am consumed with worry over myself as I look through the trees. Job 28:28, Proverbs 1:7:
"And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction."
