Sunday, finals week (and fun)

Remembrance and Looking Forward
In church this morning, we studied the Passover meal in Luke chapter 22. The disciples were told to take the bread and cup in remembrance of Jesus. So, as we partake of Communion and remember what Christ did, let us not only look back, but forward. He died and rose and will be returning, this time in power and great glory. As we prepare ourselves for each Communion with much care and anticipation, looking back on what has been done, so let us prepare ourselves each day as we look forward to what is to come.

Cramming for Finals
I am munching on grape nerds and up to page 265 of the lecture notes. One quarter of the notes to go in this notebook and I can move on to review the textbook, homework, and readings. I need to get myself up early tomorrow so I can study till 5:00. It's then that I need to get to campus and help grade the final exams for the class I assist. After I return, I need to finish writing my two final papers. I will hand them in the following day. Tomorrow will be a long day.

Miscellaneous stuff
I do have to have some fun during finals week, though! So, I have an icon from Jaws to amuse me :p Can you hear the line go *click*...*click-click*? I also created a silly away message yesterday:

public class DinnerTime{
String result = MakeDinner(Perogies, Broccoli, Hotdog);
if (result == Tasty){
public MakeDinner(Ingredient a, b, c){
String myDinner;
Boolean PanIsHot = True;
while (PanIsHot == True){
myDinner = myDinner + a;
myDinner = myDinner + b;
myDinner = myDinner + c;
return myDinner;

Ok, ok, so there is no way to change the Boolean in that loop and not all my variables are properly declared and initialized, but, well, you get the idea^^

Key Verse for Next Year
If I am still in the same frame of mind in seven months (when I am a graduate from this world called school!!), then my key verse for the following year will be Jeremiah 31:33. That would make my key verse one from Jeremiah two years in a row!! :)

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Aww, now that I am on livejournal, I don't want to return to studying!!
