Formed out of dust, called out of darkness

Psalm 40:5
"Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered."

To think that out of dust, God created living beings in His own image for His glory (Genesis 1:27). And to think that out of dust, He has created men and women who will live beyond time through eternity for His glory (Daniel 12:2, John 5:28-29).

Someday all will see and know His glory. And someday we will see ourselves in the full light of His truth (John 3:19-21). Until then, may the faces of God's people shine with a reflection of His light (Exodus 34:29, Numbers 6:24-26, John 9:5, Matthew 5:14-16).
