gods before God

The gods of man that we serve are all abominations. Most people have heard that serving the gods of self, of greed, and of pleasure are all sin. Not only these, but if we are enslaved to gods of fear or doubt, it is just as destructive. We must not cling to desires or cower before that which we fear. We can be free of it all. We can live by the Spirit.
