Words on my heart

Today I spent some time on Scripture memorization. I reviewed the few passages that I had memorized and began the process of committing some new passages to memory. All of these need practice (some more so than others), but they're slowly being written onto the tablet of my heart (Prov 3:3), praise God.

Psalm 1
Psalm 22
Psalm 23
Psalm 27
Psalm 131

John 1:1-5
Romans 8:34-36
Revelation 2:9-11

Jonah 1

I was surprised and thankful that memorizing Jonah chapter 1 was not as hard as I feared. I'm excited to memorize the whole book - only 3 chapters to go! :)

Whenever I think about Bible memorization, I think of Fahrenheit 451. Does anybody remember the "books" mentioned at the very end? I won't say any more, lest I spoil the story for somebody.
