God as God

What makes God God? Of all His attributes, which is emphasized the strongest in Scripture? Those were the type of questions that were addressed during this morning's sermon at church.

On the subject of Isaiah 6, in the past I've found that I sometimes wish that I could see God for myself. I tend to be jealous of people like Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Moses, Peter, Stephen, and John who saw God. But why should I be jealous? Those visions and sights have been recorded so that I can share in them, too. How kind is God that He preserved these things for our generation so we can see Him through His word and through the eyes of those who saw Him.
