Window Antenna II

Alright, this amateur radio station is back on the air (almost)!

A friend sent me an antenna that I can mount on my window sill, so tonight I hooked it up to the rig and did some testing. I managed to tune it to a decent level, though I would like to fine tune that to make it as efficient as possible...

Still, I was putting a signal out on the air! That's something that I haven't done in a very long time. I'm quite pleased. I'm looking forward to getting the hang of this new type of antenna and to getting active on the air from WASH DC. When that happens, it will be a dream come true - a dream that started back in 2005 in an old Civil War house in Gettysburg, PA.
