Prayer from the fish's belly

In the second chapter of Jonah, the prophet prays from the fish's belly. And it's amazing how confident his prayer is. I pray that over time, my prayers will be less focused on my weakness and more focused on God's faithfulness. Walking with God is surely not a mechanical process, but a journey to sit before the King, the Living God.

"When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD;
And my prayer went up to You, Into Your holy temple." Jonah 2:7
