Before the Flood, two seeds

"For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality." Acts 15:28-29

In light of Acts 15, I was curious to see how the ancient people approached the sanctity of worship, of life, and of marriage. Before the Flood, I found two people who seemed to clearly picture the wicked and the righteous - or might I say, the ungodly and the godly?

Lamech (Genesis 4)Noah (Genesis 5-9)
[no mention of God]
"God is in none of his thoughts" -Psalm 10:4
"found grace in the eyes of the LORD"
"walked with God"
"did according to all that the LORD commanded him"
"built an altar to the LORD...and offered burnt offerings"
"Blessed be the LORD"
"I have killed a man"Noah went into the ark with his family and the animals "to keep them alive"
"took for himself two wives""go out of the ark, you and your wife..."
