501st - Dauphin County Library Outing

A few weeks ago, I trooped at this library event at Fort Hunter Park, Harrisburg.

This was a wonderful event. The weather was perfect - sunny but not too hot and a little breezy. The fog was just burning off the river when I drove down that morning.

The library had invited all sorts of interesting groups for the day, so I was able to see a barn owl and alligator there in addition to 501st and RL friends. The staff gave us a room in the historic barn to use to prepare - it had huge wooden beams. Mostly, I strolled around the park with stormtroopers, reading the signs and stopping for photos with folks. Afterwards, the staff gave us subs for lunch and we got to enjoy a walk over to the Susquehanna River. I tried out my DH-17 and liked it a lot :)
