All day

I did a quick word study on "all" and "day" to see what the Psalms say about daily life. I thought they might speak of praise all day long or their focus on God. (I struggle to maintain both of those through the mentally-exhausting work of the day.) I did find some passages like this; but I was also surprised to see that many of the Psalmists' days were full of struggle and grief. Here are some of the verses that I found:

"on You I wait all the day" Psalm 25

"my groaning all the day long" Psalm 32

"and my tongue shall speak...Your praise all the day long" Psalm 35

"I go mourning all the day long" Psalm 36

"those who seek my hurt...plan deception all the day long" Psalm 38

"my enemies...say to me all day long, 'Where is your God?'" Psalm 42

"in God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah" Psalm 44

"yet for Your sake we are killed all day long" Psalm 44

"all day he oppresses me...my enemies would hound me all day...all day they twist my words" Psalm 56

"let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day...my mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day...my tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long" Psalm 71

"all day long I have been plagued" Psalm 73

"be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long" Psalm 86

"Your fierce wrath has gone over me...came around me all day long like water" Psalm 88

"in Your name they rejoice all day long" Psalm 89

"my enemies reproach me all day long" Psalm 102

"oh, how I love Your law! it is my meditation all the day" Psalm 119

Lord, help me when I'm tired and when I am focusing on a million things and nothing all at the same time. Help me to see You through the day and to worship You in the midst of it all.
